what am i doing?

ok, so I’m trying to set this blog thing up and i have no idea what I’m doing. I’ve been sitting here for about 3 hours and i cannot figure it out. I’m not going to give up though. this is part of what happens when you “start again” i am so computer illiterate but I’m going to keep at this.

i know how to use Facebook, instagram and twitter but this blogging thing has thrown me for a loop.

here is what I’m trying to do….i have a son with charcot marie tooth disease (i will refer to this as cmt from now on). it is a peripheral neuropathy. 1 in 2500 people are born with this degenerative, progressive disease. my son is 17. his name is zach. he is the one in the picture and i can’t figure out how to change the other pictures, so instead i am writing. that i know how to do. anyway, getting back to cmt, september is cmt awareness month.i am trying to educate people about cmt in any way i can.

my son was diagnosed at the age of 8. he was very clumsy and always falling. i knew something was wrong but i could not put my finger on it. cognitively he is “typical”. cmt is a physical disability. zach wears legs braces and has minimal us of his hands. this has never stop him from doing anything. he has played football, baseball, hockey and basketball. he can do anything just a little slower and differently than other kids. he just started driving!!!!

i also want manufactures to start having adaptive clothing in their lines. by that i mean mainstream clothing for every body. that includes people in wheel chairs, have parkinsons, differently limbed, EVERY BODY!!!!!

welcome on this journey with me!!!! now back to customizing my pages lol!!!!!
